I made my own knee ascender, SAKA, and I want to share it. It has that same function that other mass produced SAKA's have. Many climbers have money for the tools we need and sometimes we just want to create our own. That is why most of the things that are required you probably already have. I used a chest ascender but you can get away with something else. You might need to order the bungee cord, I got mine off the internet. Watching this video should take off some of the learning curve pertaining to building this component. It was a lot of fun. I had a great time messing with this and now here it is for you.
