The author of this book, Tal Ben-Shahar, received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University. His course “Positive Psychology” has been one of the most popular courses at Harvard for many years. Ben-Shahar himself is regarded as “Harvard’s most popular tutor” by his students. His famous book Happier: Learn the Secrets to Daily Joy and Lasting Fulfillment remained on the bestseller list for a long time after its publication. It was also ranked as number one on The New York Times booklist. Having been translated into multiple languages, it has become popular in 26 countries in multiple regions.
The author of this book is Naoki Higashida, born in Chiba prefecture, Japan, in 1992. Diagnosed with severe autism when he was five, he is unable to speak. As a child, he learned to spell out words using an alphabet grid with the help of his teacher and mother. This method enabled him to express what he wanted to say. He wrote The Reason I Jump at the tender age of thirteen, which was first published in Japan in 2007 and later translated into English in 2013.
