CFD analysis of a Data Center (servers room).
About:
There are 160 RACK units generating 10 kW of heat each inside the Data Center.
12 CRAC units cooling the air to 23.5 degree Celsius, with a flow of 43,000 m^3/h each.
the air is pushed through the underfloor platinum and then goes by the 25% perforated tiles, to the cold aisle.
the air is then pushed to the RACK units, where it gets hot.
Then the hot air at 35 degrees Celsius flow by the hot aisle back into the RACK units, to be cooled again.
The Simulation was done using Autodesk Simulation CFD 2018.
K - epsilon turbulence model was used.
The mesh was done using 4 M tetrahedral elements.
Post processing was done using particle traces colored by Temperature.
