At first I was going to translate TF1's commentary until the guy was saying that he knew of legionnaires who would go on leave with two taxis, one for them and one that they would put their kepi in. I mean WTF !
I think that it was to impress on people just how important the white kepi is.

Un grand merci au Ministère français des Armées pour avoir mis en ligne l'original sans aucun commentaire. Au début j'allais traduire le commentaire de TF1 jusqu'à ce que le mec me dise qu'il connaissait des légionnaires qui partaient en permission avec deux taxis, un pour eux et un dans lequel ils mettaient leur képi. Je veux dire WTF !
Je pense que c'était pour faire comprendre aux gens l'importance du képi blanc.
Assurez-vous que vous "l'aimez".
