Chow Chow pepper stir fry is one of the simple and easy to make recipe. It is an excellent side dish to sambar and rasam rice. Try this healthy and tasty recipe and post your comments.

Chow- Chow (Choyote Squash) - 250 gms
Onion - 1 chopped
Green chillies - 4 slit
Curry leaves few
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Preparation method
1. Clean and cut the Chow Chow(chayote squash) into small cube size pieces
2. Heal oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
3. Once the seeds splutter, add onions, curry leaves and green chillies.
4. Cook the onions for 5 mins
5. Add Chow Chow, water, salt and give it a good mix
6. Cover and cook the veggies for 15 min on medium flame.
7. Keep stirring inbetween
8. Once the water dries out, add pepper powder and grated coconut
9. Mix it well and serve hot.
