The new Logitech Slim Combo Keyboard Case has quickly become my favorite laptop replacement keyboard case for the 12.9" or 10.5" iPad Pro but that doesn't come with some caveats.

Although I believe it's the best all-in-one solution right now, other than it's amazing keyboard, it doesn't perform spectacularly well in any one mode they offer.
The Slim Combo Keyboard Case has a built-in stand which offers a range of angles to be used in, much better than most cases that restrict you to a set angle. The Smart Connector allows for a battery-free and instant connection experience - no more fussing around with Bluetooth connections. The keyboard provides clicky tactile response and feels well built.
I'm a fan of the flexible ribbon connection of the Smart Connector which provides the keyboard some play in twisting and turning, which makes it ideal for using it on your lap. Unfortunately, the biggest downside is it's size - with the standout and keyboard folded down, it takes up quite a bit of space which can be a nuisance for students who may have limited desk space.
