The 2023 Corvette C8 Z06 is the most powerful naturally aspirated production car ever production. The flat plane crank V8 engine produces 670hp and 460 lb-ft of torque with a redline of over 8,500 RPM's. How does this stack up to the regular C8 Z51? Well, because they are based upon the same generation of Corvette they aren't so much different that its an entirely different feeling but they are different enough that they do drive much differently. The regular C8 still offers a tremendous value and is still incredibly capable but if you are looking for additional performance the Z06 is the way to go. When compared to the competition, both cars offer great value. With the upcoming C8 E-Ray bringing electrification to the Corvette brand it will be interesting to see over the next few years the wide variety of offerings the Corvette brand has for enthusiasts.
