This is the first of a five-part video series showcasing tactical destroyers for high-security combat sites. This video will review the slot layout and common attributes of this ship class, as well as the attributes that make each faction's tactical destroyer unique.
Tactical destroyers use a unique hull, and have the unique ability to toggle between three separate modes at any time. Defense mode increases damage resistances and provides one other tanking bonus. Sharpshooter mode increases weapon damage and other weapon attributes, while also increasing resistances to various forms of electronic warfare. Propulsion mode increases ship inertia and provides some kind of speed bonus.
As an assault frigate pilot, this series could also be called "Why I Hate Competing Against Tactical Destroyers!" ;)
