Years ago, Athen Alister, a young man who lives in fear, had his life changed forever when he cross paths with the mysterious Zandra Zephyr, a girl who thirsts for adventure. Alister is discovered to be the host of Ithuria, the goddess of the Realm, and the Soluteera, ravenous forces of the Great Old One, will hunt him down at any cost. A hasty introduction and a demolished city later, the two go on the run across Ithuria's mechanical body to evade the beasts and find a more suitable container for the goddess.

In order to save himself from danger, Alister must be able to face the things he fears. In order to save Alister, Zephyr must be prepared to lose her newest friend. Can they both make the sacrifices needed to accomplish their goals? Or will they be prey to their enemies?
