As the longest distance VIA Rail train still operating during the pandemic, the Winnipeg-Churchill train got a lot of attention as it left Winnipeg this Sunday morning. There were quite a few railfans out in the nice - but windy - weather to record the train.
The train was a little unusual in that it only had one locomotive. I understand it was going to pick up the other engine in The Pas.
I recorded the train using two cameras, one on a tripod and one closer to the track on a GorillaPod. I hope you like the video! Like and comment!
