The exhibition includes Coming Up For Air, one of Darren Almond's earliest aluminum train plate reliefs, Katharina Fritsch's iconic sculpture of a bright red postcard, Martin Honert's sculptures of an airplane and polar bear, on view in Los Angeles for the first time, and two new works by Gary Hume: an English limestone sculpture that references botanical themes found regularly in his work, as well as a large portrait painting in his signature hand-mixed enamel colors.
Also on view are four of Paul Sietsema's new paintings from a group of works based on metal currency and paint spills, a recent Rebecca Warren sculpture, Toto, a female figure adorned with a bow on her head, and Terry Winter's Tessellation Figures (7), a large abstract work that utilizes pigments that reveal the various layers that are built up on the canvas.
