Direct to implant (DTI) prepectoral breast reconstruction using AlloMend Shaped acellular dermal matrix and Surgicell Nu-Knit hemostatic material: A quick and cost-effective method.
In this video, Dr. Kocak from Midwest Breast shows us how he uses AlloMend Shaped acellular dermal matrix to perform direct to implant (DTI) prepectoral breast reconstruction. His novel method uses two pieces of biologic material in combination with the hemostatic fabric, Nu-Knit, to create a stable construct that can be sewn into the mastectomy pocket for maximal control of position while optimizing the cost of procedure.
