Many herbs can be planted using an over-seeding method. That is, putting a lot of seeds in a single cell. I start my herbs, here in Maryland Zone 7, 10-12 weeks before they are ready to go outside. The over-seeding method lets me save space and I get 4 plants from a single cell. This can be done with your perennial herbs like Oregano, Thyme and Chives. If you watched 1 of the 3 videos on these herbs, you don't have to watch them all (LOL). The principle is the same.
