Plenty of older cars suffer from light amounts of floor pan rust over their lifetimes. Many of these cars have small areas of rust, that don’t actually warrant large areas to be cut out and new sheet metal installed. I am offering you an option that anyone can do at home to cover and stop their current rusting floor pans, that will help seal and protect, until you deem it necessary to replace the panels. This is not a repair for structural areas like torsion bar boxes, rocker panels, pillars, etc. It is however an ideal repair for simple pin holes, repairing seat holes that have been drilled, and for areas that you don’t want to use a welder on, to reduce the amount of spatter and damage caused to interior pieces. Take it for what it’s worth, another option.
