"Unstillbare Gier" ("Endless Appetite"), the song of the Count von Krolock, is based on "Objects in the rear view mirror may appear closer than they are" by Meat Loaf. It is included in the Austrian musical "Tanz der Vampire" ("Dance of the Vampires") by Jim Steinman and Michael Kunze which is inspired by Roman Polanski's homonymous film made in 1967.
Here it is performed by the Musical Workshop of Olbernhau Grammar School (Gymnasium Olbernhau), on the occasion of the festivities connected with the 750th anniversity of the town of Olbernhau (Central Ore Mountains, Germany), on May, 28, 2010.
