Women's Volleyball Team USA Opposite Hitter Jordan Thompson scored 34 points against China during the Preliminary Round Pool B match at the 2020 Summer Olympic games in Tokyo - the most of any volleyball player from both the men's and women's competition so far during Tokyo 2020! The second match against China, the 3rd ranked team in the world and gold medalists in the 2016 Olympics, was expected to be a tougher affair for the world number one Team USA, but they cruised to victory in a shock 3-0 win with Thompson singled out by many as the standout performer.
