The Beautiful Game Trailer Previews Netflix Sports Drama Starring Bill Nighy, Michael Ward


Netflix has released a trailer for The Beautiful Game, a new sports drama starring Bill Nighy and Michael Ward.
The Beautiful Game is directed by Thea Sharrock. Releasing on Netflix in March 2024, the movie sees Nighy play the manager of a football team who recruits a new athlete, played by Ward, in hopes that they can win the Homeless World Cup.
Along with Nighy and Ward, The Beautiful Game also stars Susan Wokoma, Callum Scott Howells, Kit Young, Sheyi Cole, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Robin Nazari, Aoi Okuyama, Cristina Rodlo, Tadashi Watanabe, Kazuhiro Muroyama, and Valeria Golino.
Frank Cottrell Boyce wrote the script for The Beautiful Game. The movie is produced by Graham Broadbent, Pete Czernin, Ben Knight, and Colin Farrell, while Diarmuid McKeown, Claudine Farrell, Ollie Madden, and Daniel Battsek serve as executive producers.
Prior to The Beautiful Game, Sharrock directed 2016’s Me Before You, 2020’s The One and Only Ivan, and 2023’s Wicked Little Letters.
The Beautiful Game releases on Netflix on March 29, 2024.
