This video breaks down a little bit about the difference between a PhD in Psychology and PsyD. For more FREE content, click: [ Ссылка ]
A PsyD = Doctor of Psychology while PhD is Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology (or in whatever other field). which are both doctoral degrees in the same field. I discuss a few ways to determine which degree is right for you, but ultimately it is an individual decision based on your career goals. I also discuss why I personally chose to pursue a PhD rather than a PsyD. It is important to know that both a PsyD and a PhD in Clinical Psychology may allow you to pursue licensure as a psychologist (based on whether the program you attend meets requirements for licensure in your area). To clarify, the contents of this video are specifically relevant to the United States and specifically a PsyD and PhD in Clinical Psychology (rather than a PhD in Counseling Psychology or other fields).
