In today's video, I share with you information on Friday abstinence and how the USCCB never intended for Catholics to give up this practice entirely.

Everybody knows that Catholics in the United States no longer have to abstain from eating meat on most Fridays of the year. (They do still have to do so on a few Fridays.)

But are they legally required to do anything on a typical Friday?
