문 대통령, 오늘 김연철•박영선 장관 임명 강행
President Moon Jae-in has appointed five new ministers to his Cabinet, despite objections from opposition parties.
Those appointees are Kim Yeon-chul for unification,... ruling party lawmaker Park Young-sun for SMEs and startups -- another lawmaker Chin Young for interior, Park Yang-woo for culture... and Moon Seong-hyeok for oceans and fisheries.
There had been two other nominees... but their nominations were scuttled because of suspected ethical lapses.
The opposition parties have been objecting some of Moon's picks over their qualifications... but their appointments do not require parliamentary consent.
