Charles Malki, Biologist & Plant Expert @ [ Ссылка ] explains his favorite method for rooting fig cuttings simply using vermiculite & perlite. The advantage of these materials is that they do not break down, like peat moss and compost, and therefore do not contribute toward rotting your cuttings. Transplanting your new plants also comes with the risk of transplant shock. Use IV Organic Ready-To-Use Spray to offer your plants light protection from weather & pests, so that they can be off to a great start. Many pros will say, “The Day You Plant A Tree, Is The Day You WhiteWash With IV Organic.” Also, if repotting a plant, use a quality potting soil. However, do not use potting soil for your inground planting as the excess moisture retention of potting soil can rot the roots of your inground plantings. For inground plantings, simply improve the topsoil with compost and/ or amend type products. #FigCuttings #Transplant #IVOrganic
