We have added the heavier weight to the pendulum (aprox. 130 Pounds), and lengthened it's stroke (to just under 2 meters ((6 ft. to be exact)),).
We learned that there is an unreal loss in the energy in the pendulum by letting the pivot point of the pendulum move up and down (which gives the power to the back end of the power beam).
If the pivot point of the pendulum is not allowed to move (just rotate on the bearings), it will swing for over an hour before coming to a rest, And of course, you can see in the video how fast it slows down.
Even this is not proof positive that the machine does not work.
It only takes a few ounces of energy input applied for the total distance of the swing to keep the pendulum swinging while power is extracted at the back end.
The back end of the power beam produces power on both the up and down stroke. I proved this by reversing the chain on the hub.
Thus having it power the wheel on the up stroke and ratchet back on the down stroke. Then Revers the chain and power the wheel on the down stroke and ratchet back on the up stroke.
This being true;; We are losing a full half of the power actually being produced by the pendulum.
We have designed a ratcheting system that will use both the up and down stroke of the power beam to push the wheel in the same direction.
We have also designed a pendulum that should reduce the wind drag ( I am hoping for better than 97% Reduction), It really looks promising.

If there is some one out there that knows something about grandfather clocks and pendulums ; Please contact me. I would really like to build a similar apparatus to keep it swinging. With a weight and chain.
