So, let me just start by say that yes, these are the new version of the good old Salomon Quest 4D 3 GTX hiking boots that I have reviewed before, so this is technically the Salomon Quest 4D 4 GTX... but for some reason Salomon decided to get rid of the 4D in the name... even though it is still on the boot... oh well, you get the point!

Are these Salomon Quest 4 boots an improvement? Well, the version 3 was already one of the best hiking boots for men that I have ever reviewed. Salomon Quest 4 GTX are lighter, a bit less bulky, provide a bit more support with a bit more traction... So, yes a bit more, but definitely an improvement in my opinion.

These Salomon boots just made it to the shelves and they already got a few online titles like best backpacking boots 2021, most comfortable hiking boots for men, best waterproof hiking boots for men, best hiking boots 2021 and a few more. Impressive!
