reviewing sleater-kinney albums, part four. does anyone want this content? well here it is.
Holy Trinity of The Hot Rock: “Start Together,” “Burn, Don’t Freeze,” and “Get Up” (now listen up. yes I did want to put “Hot Rock” on this list, but alas there can only be three in a holy trinity. my original holy trinity had “Hot Rock” instead of “Get Up” but then I came to the realization that “Get Up” goes off indeed a bit more than “Hot Rock,” which is sad but true, and so I had to make that tough choice and now here we are).
I hate lighting. lighting is the bane of my existence. I curse it. a curse upon both your houses, houses being indoor and outdoor lighting. why, I ask you. why must it be like this. I’m sorry you have to suffer through this horrible lighting, but I hope you trudge through for the Content, the Content I know you so desire.
