Earth, Wind & Fire founder Maurice White, whose horn-driven band sold more than 90 million albums and had a successful solo career behind-the-scenes as a producer, died Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 74.
Earth, Wind & Fire was one of the most innovative, influential, and tightest groups of all time. They were known for a string of hits including September, Shining Star and Boogie Wonderland.
