Publish a private React Package to GitHub packages.
In this tutorial, we are going to:
- Create a simple React button package project, build this package, publish this package and use this package... all from scratch.
- Publish this package as a Private GitHub package and npm install this private package.
- Add an .npmrc file and get the proper access token from GitHub.com
- Create our own simple webpack.config.js
- Deploy the end project to Firebase (for kicks).
Alternatively, you can also use npx create-react-library; it comes with pre-configured configurations.
