President James Marshall (Harrison Ford) picks up the phone, and it’s Melanie Mitchel (Donna Bullock), kidnapped by Korshunov (Gary Oldman), who is afraid because Korshunov threatens her with a gun. The kidnapper gives the President an ultimatum. Finally, he ends up killing Melanie because the president does not arrive in time.
