I wrote and produced this song '中国风 China Wind' about all the amazing sounds I've heard in China. Before I left for I left for the eastern shores, I thought instruments like 古筝 Guzheng, 二胡 Erhu, 琵琶 Pipa, and 笛子 Dizi all belonged to the history books. Little did I know the ancient sounds of these beautiful instruments are still very much alive and part of modern culture, and can be heard in parks, on street corners and in precincts across the country. How could I resist putting them in my music and sharing it with my fellow westerners?
