In his day job Cycling Weekly's senior tech writer Simon Smythe is lucky enough to ride some of the latest and greatest road bikes around. While he's loves the latest kit Simon is also a little bit old school which is why his dream build is a steel road bike built in 2001 by renowned British frame-builder Chas Roberts. In this video he tells us how he came to get hold of this classic bike, shows us its fancy new paint job and reveals that, although he loves older metal, he's more than happy to adorn his ride with thoroughly modern kit! What do you think of Simon's restomod Chas Roberts? Have you got a classic bike in your collection? Let us know in the comments!
