We dedicate #AyeZindagi to the real-life heroes of our society- doctors & members of the medical fraternity whose immense sacrifices & contribution have helped us survive through these difficult times. Our film arrives in cinemas this Friday, October 14. We hope it touches your heart.
Revathy says, “In the last few years, we’ve seen a lot of amazing heroes in our society from the medical fraternity. Doctors, nurses, ward boys, technicians, janitors, ambulance drivers and so many others - without whom we would not have survived the last few years. Aye Zindagi is a tribute to all of them. It is a true story of hope, healing and humanity that will touch your hearts when you watch it.”
On his remarkable journey from being a doctor to turning writer-director, Anirban shares, “Aye Zindagi is a big departure from what I normally do. I’m a physician so I take care of patients and I teach medical students. I hope people see the beauty of this story that motivated me to devote two years of my life into a project so far out of my comfort zone.”
He adds, “As a doctor, I feel like I have a special responsibility to my fraternity of medical personnel, to make sure that I represent them accurately. In the Covid-19 crisis, this community has been through a lot. Just like them, I have personally spent months taking care of patients with covid, worrying about when I would get the infection and unknowingly passing it on to my family. By dedicating this film to them, we hope everyone will be able to see the tremendous hard work and sacrifice that doctors and nurses have to make for the betterment of our society.”
Produced by Platoon One Films, Aye Zindagi will be releasing In theatres in India and North America this Friday.
