Happy #TherapyTipTuesday! This week’s tip teaches children how to increase weight on their knees, while pushing from their hands, and to prepare for crawling. This allows them to build strength on their lower extremities, extend the arms, open hands, improve head control, and is useful for children with brachial plexus injury, hemiplegia and those who need an extra push to continue reaching milestones.
If you have difficulty performing this tip, do not hesitate to contact me via direct message and I will do my best to respond within 24 hours!
Be sure to share this tip if you feel it can benefit others! Consult with your local therapist to determine if this tip is safe and appropriate for your child.
