When Syrian government forces retook control of the main border crossing with Jordan, they reconnected a trade route that runs from Turkey and Lebanon down to the Arabian Penninsula.
With the economy in Jordan struggling, the restored route could be important to the nation hosting some 650,000 Syrian refugees.
