One of the top activities to do in Ecuador! We went to Puerto Lopez and discovered it was whale watching season. We found a tour for $45 and we were off! Visiting Isla de la Plata is one of my highlights of 1 year of travel for sure! We were shocked to find so many birds, crabs, and marine life during the tour. I especially loved the blue-footed booby birds!! Which I would 100% recommend going especially for those who don't have the budget for the real Galapagos experience.
