Word of Forgiveness In Luke 23:34 --
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do”
The Seven Last Words from the Cross are biblically attributed sayings of Jesus The Christ. These seven last words, gathered from the bible’s four Gospels are presented in eye-witness accounts of his crucifixion.
According to our timeline, Julius Caesar’s great-nephew and adopted son ruled the roman government after making an unprecedented deal with the Senate. Caesar Augustus would sit as head of government for forty years without term limits from 63 BC to 14 AD according to historical research.
Two years before Augustus Caesar’s death, religious leaders from low to moderate income communities were being schooled by a 12 year young son of a carpenter. They would be challenged to rethink their conduct of an enterprise evidenced by crab-n-the-barrel behavior, unfair taxation, inequality and failure to help poor people be less poor.
