Muslims consistently claim that the Torah is corrupted, but Quran 5:43 says that the Torah is the judgement of Allah. It goes on to say that if they do not use the Torah to judge, they are infidels, calling it guidance and light. This brings up the bigger issue that the Quran repeatedly confirms that the Jewish and Christian Scriptures are sent to each of these groups from Allah.

Further, Sunan Abu Dawud 4449 tells the story of Allah elevating the Torah and saying "I believe in you and the One who sent you."

The Quran clearly teaches that the Jewish and Christian scriptures were from Allah, but because they contradict many of the teachings of the Quran, they must claim that the Jewish and Christian writings have been corrupted since the time they were given.

Muslims repeatedly claim that the Bible is corrupt and therefore cannot be trusted as a authority to evaluate the teachings of the Quran. Al Fadi, David Wood, and Sam Shamoun show that the Quran itself affirms the inspiration, authority and preservation of the Jewish and Christian scriptures.
