🚶🏼‍♀️Walk with me from the entrance in Petra all the way to the Treasury. It is approx. 4km.
The walk through the canyon (Siq) is amazing!

🕡We were at the entrance around 6:10am and we arrived at the Treasury at 6:40am (September 29, 2022)

🥵If you don’t like crowds and walking in the heat go early :-)

🐪🐴Don’t pay for animal rides, there are e-buggies that will take you to the Treasury when you are unable to walk.

🐶🐱 stray cats and dogs everywere…
The stray dogs are everywhere you look, it is heartbeaking. Bring food and if possible water, the dogs are extremely thrirsty. I brought liquid snacks, easy to carry but it was far from enough :-(
