Apple has just released its latest version of iOS for the iPhone, which places a big of emphasis on digital privacy.
In this edition, we look at the implications of Apple’s latest update for the iPhone, on the advertising industry. As part of the update, Apple will give consumers the ability to choose before being tracked online in service of targeted advertising.
Facebook - which makes a large portion of its revenue from advertising - has taken issue with Apple’s stance on privacy, arguing that it could hurt its business model and that of small businesses.
