Amanda Bynes' parents moving back to Texas after 'heartbreaking decision to give up conservatorship'
The star's parents reportedly decided there was nothing more they could do for their daughter and have passed her welfare over to a mental health professional

Amanda Bynes' parents are planning to move back to Texas after ending their conservatorship over their daughter, it has been claimed.

The troubled star has hit out at her parents Lynn and Rick Bynes several times over the last week, accusing them of not supporting her by holding back her money.

But now they are reportedly set to file legal documents to hand her care over to someone else ahead of their planned move to Texas.

“Rick and Lynn had full lives in Texas and left it all behind when Amanda began the disturbing behavior last year,” an insider reportedly told Radar Online. “Completely uprooting themselves, and leaving their other two children, and grandchildren behind, they moved to California and everything became focused on saving Amanda.”

“But with Amanda continuing to resist all efforts from her parents to get help, they are now ready to return to Texas,” the source reportedly added. “The time has come because there is nothing more they can do.”

According to TMZ, Amanda's welfare will be in the hands of a mental health professional who specialises in handling people with "severe mental illnesses", while financial matters will be handled by someone else.

Lynn and Rick are said to hope that transferring the conservatorship will stop the Easy A star from lashing out at them and help repair their relationship with her.

Amanda's conservatorship attorney David Esquibias hasn't commented on the personal aspect changing, but did reveal her financial affairs are to be put in the charge of an unnamed private trust firm, in order to make them more accessible to the actress, noting the 28-year-old star currently has no stable home or the means to rent an apartment.

He told Access Hollywood: "My goal is to get her permanent adequate housing."

While the next scheduled conservatorship hearing isn't due to take place until February 2015, it is hoped the matter will be resolved soon.

The news comes after Amanda - who was recently released from a psychiatric treatment facility in Pasadena, California after being involuntarily committed for the second time on October 10 -hit out on Twitter and expressed her desire to have a new conservator.

She wrote: "I'm so mad at my parents

"They are with holding my belongings and money from me so I don't have new clothes or enough money to rent an apartment

"We aren't speaking

"So until I get a different conservator ill look terrible because I don't have enough to get new clothes or anything I need (sic)"
