Dr. Wharton earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto in 2001 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at McMaster University, Ontario, in 2005. He works as an internist at both the Toronto East General Hospital and Hamilton Health Sciences. Dr. Wharton also holds doctorates in both Pharmacy and Medicine and is a certified American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) Diplomate.
