'Sweet and Low' was originally written as a poem by English poet Alfred Lord Tennyson (1809-1892) and set to music by English composer Joseph Barnby (1838-1896). Mary Higgins Clark's 1989 novel 'While my Pretty one sleeps' takes its title from the first stanza. This is an A capella version by the Western vocal students at Octavium. Vocal arrangement by Bharath Bevinahally and Sneha Sundaram.
