Review :
Qwertykeys mentioned one of the challenges when designing the QK60 was maintaining aesthetics while utilizing various case materials to allow for portability. The CNC acrylic top flows across the front without intrusively exposing the mounting system. While the texture of the acrylic allows for a nice compliment to the e-coating on the base. I like how this design was implemented.
When qwertykeys announced their new 60% I thought it was a board I should add to the collection. The QK60 did a good job by offering a premium build and feel at a (near) budget price. With the wired pcb accommodating split backspace, split spacebar, and stepped caps, this allowed for more customization in each build.
Although I missed out with acquiring a qk65, it seems the qk60 is the culmination of qwertykeys compact and portable lineup. This is my first HHKB layout and I have enjoyed this board since it arrived. I chose the dark acrylic top with the E-white bottom to match perfectly with my GMK Honor Light (Thank you Abbs).
Aside from the keycaps all products were purchased by me.
