The International M1224 MaxxPro MRAP is the full name of the base model of this vehicle, which will eventually replace all HMMWVs in the US Marine Corps. MRAP stands for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles. International MaxxPro belongs to MRAPs of the primary and second categories, even though the lion's proportion of motors which have already arrived to clients are exactly MRAP Category I (MRAP-MRUV), that is, mild mine-resistant generic motors designed for operations inside the city.
