The Church of Uganda has registered trademarks for 42 Bishops’ vestments with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau to be protected under the Intellectual Property Laws of Uganda after noticing continuous infringement of these trademarks by some religious groups and sects. This means it is now a crime for anyone to wear religious attire when he or she is not a bishop in the Church of Uganda. The revelations were made by the Church of Uganda Provincial Secretariat at Namirembe by the provincial secretary church of Uganda, representatives of the House of bishops, and their chief Legal advisor. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition
