Welcome to the complete story of Final Fantasy IX, the game that paid homage to all that had come before it and returned the Final Fantasy series to its roots in high fantasy. Originally released all the way back in 2000, the game, which was the last of the PlayStation 1 generation Final Fantasy games, was overshadowed by the new and shiny PlayStation 2. Since then, however, the game has re-emerged from the mist of history as one of the most beloved entries in the series, and for good reason. The story of the game features an intricate plot with multiple viewpoints that deal with love, loss, loyalty, lechery, life, and probably some other things that begin with a different letter.
