This lecture introduces the origin of quantum finance and the two different perspectives to see the world. It investigates the wave-particle duality and Hei-senberg’s uncertainty principle in quantum mechanics and how these phenom-ena are related to quantum finance, which leads to our study on the philoso-phy of quantum finance. After that it introduces the major components of quantum finance and the quantum finance four-tier concentric sphere model.
