La Lancia Trevi Bimotore è il prototipo con trazione integrale e due motori realizzato nel 1984 da Giorgio Pianta, pilota, collaudatore e team manager dell'Abarth.
Un esemplare unico, raro e affascinante per le soluzioni tecniche impiegate, sviluppato nell'ambito della ricerca sulle quattro ruote motrici da utilizzare per la nuova vettura Lancia da far competere nel campionato mondiale rally.
La Trevi Bimotore sviluppa fino a 135 CV per singolo propulsore - uno anteriore e uno posteriore: sono le due anime rombanti che convivono all’interno di un’unica concept car.
La livrea si presenta nell’iconico rosso amaranto Montebello con un omaggio alla città di Torino: la banda verniciata gialla e blu, i colori araldici del capoluogo piemontese. Una citazione della livrea di un'altra Lancia straordinaria: la Fulvia Coupé HF.
La Lancia Trevi Bimotore della collezione di FCA Heritage è eccezionalmente in mostra al salone Automotoretrò di Torino in un tributo alla straordinaria figura di Giorgio Pianta, un uomo che ha dedicato tutta la sua vita all'automobilismo sportivo.

The Lancia Trevi Bimotore was a prototype with four-wheel drive and two engines. It was built in 1984 by Giorgio Pianta: Abarth driver, test driver and team manager.
The car is altogether unique, rare and fascinating due to the technical solutions adopted. It was developed as part of research into four-wheel drive with a view to using this technology for Lancia’s latest entry in the World Rally Championship.
The Trevi Bimotore develops up to 135 hp per engine — one at the front and one at the rear: these are the two roaring souls that coexist within this unique concept car.
The body was painted in iconic Montebello amaranth red, with a nod to the city of Turin in the form of a racing stripe in yellow and blue, the heraldic colours of the Piedmontese capital. This livery was based on another extraordinary Lancia: the Fulvia Coupé HF.
The Lancia Trevi Bimotore in the FCA Heritage collection is on show at the Automotoretrò Motor Show in Turin, as a tribute to the extraordinary figure of Giorgio Pianta, a man who dedicated his life to motor sport.
