Charles Woodburn, chair of Movement to Work, says the charity has offered a 160,000 opportunities to young people with "more than half leading to successful outcomes".
The UK unemployment rate for 16–24-year-olds stands at 10.8%, while the inactivity rate - those not in education, employment or training - stands at 38.2%.
Movement to Work was set up to tackle that state of affairs.
