The Department of Justice recently released a solicitation to distribute over $100 million to tribes to support crime victim services. For the first time this year, the funding will be distributed via a formula to all eligible tribal governments. This year’s solicitation contains two separate deadlines for the pre-application and the full application. The first mandatory deadline is April 30, 2020.
The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) and the Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) held a webinar to discuss and answer questions concerning the mandatory pre-application for the FY 20 Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside Program.
