We sat down with the artist in her Brooklyn studio to discuss her multi-disciplinary practice in sculpture, painting, virtual reality, gaming and video. Her newly commissioned video, 'Recursive Truth', uses video game mods and deep fakes to explore loss, memory and truth as a medium.
'Recursive Truth' is the second of two commissioned by Phillips in partnership with Daata Editions, and will be on view in New York 8-12 June.
