Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh demanded an apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for comparing “the goons of Bajrang Dal” with lord Hanuman. “We have an issue in the goons of Bajran Dal being compared with our Lord Hanuman. PM Modi should apologise. They are misusing religion. PM Modi has committed a crime. Election Commission should have served the PM a notice but they did not,” he said on June 11.
